Had lunch at TGI Fridays @ 1 Utama, what I can say is, after a long absence of indulging TGI Fridays food, their food quality has gone down by abit. Below shows a 3 Course Meal, and a Entree from the Main Menu.

Shrimp Martini. This appetizer was slightly dissapointing as the shrimp had not much of taste in it. I assume it was supposed to go with the dressing, and also it had only about 4 shrimps in it, I started to wonder if I had ordered the wrong appetizer.

Roma Chicken Cutlet. This dish was the Entree for the 3 Course Meal. It was served golden & crispy. Along with salad, and with TGI Friday's Savory Tomato Salsa. Tastewise was good, but not great, because it was slightly tasteless without the sprinkle of lemon juice.

Double-Stack Chicken Quesadillas. This was an Ala-Carte Entree which we ordered. All I can say is, through out my whole dining experience at TGI Fridays, this dish would probably win #1 in my heart. It is served with savory rice, fresh pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream and salsa as dips.

Cookies 'N' Cream. This dessert was served alongside the 3 Course Meal. The cookie dough was soft yet chewy. It went well with the ice cream.

Total bill came up to about RM90+++, inclusive of 2 RM7.90 drinks and tax. Worth the amount paid.

Last Saturday (6th December 2008), my blog finally turned 6 Months old!

It has been a fun and exciting experience since 6th June 2008, travelling around tasting food and visiting lots of eateries.

Christmas Decoration @ NZX, Ara Damansara

NZX, also known as Niu Ze Xiu, is located at Ara Damansara. It was launched on the first day of 2008. NZX is a covered boulevard which provides outdoor shopping experience, entertainment and also alot of unique concept restaurants. It has up to 1800 parking spaces and it is also Malaysia's biggest and largest outdoor boulevard. It also has a very clean and spacious environment. There are security guards patroling everywhere and also CCTV at every corner of NZX. And starting from 15th of November 2008, all the way till 15th of Febuary, there will be a Festive Fun-tasy event with loads of activities and games.

Malacca Trip, Day Two, Part Two

(This is the last part of my Malacca Trip)

After having breakfast at 88 The Museum Cafe, I walked around Jonker Street looking for nice local snacks. Then I found one: Gu Pong Enterprise.

The Pineapple Tarts tasted great. For RM13 a box containing two layers of Pineapple Tarts, it is ratherly reasonable and delicious.

The shop is located @ 136, Jalan Hang Jebat, 75000, Melaka.

These Pineapple Tarts are made using Butter, instead of the traditional Margarine. Butter makes it taste softer and more fragrance.

After buying the Pineapple Tarts, I continued walking around Jonker Street, and I walked pass these Association buildings.

This is the Teo Chew Association building.

Got some Gula Melaka.

After that, I went to Bukit Berendam for good Chicken Rice Balls @ Restoran Huang Chang Chicken Rice.

Their very own chilli. It tastes great!

1/2 of a Steamed Chicken. The meat is soft and tender. It goes well with the chilli.

The Chicken Rice Ball. It is sticky enough to stick as a ball and it wont break easily, very tasty.

This trip was more of a Eating Trip, so there was less visiting.

Shop interior. This place sells all types of currency notes that was used during the Communist period.

Cendol. This is the thickest Gula Melaka I have ever had in my life, after the Gula Melaka is poured into your bowl of Cendol, it will freeze and become like malt, and it's only RM1.70 a bowl!
Fish Ball Noodles. Tastewise was okay, but the soup was abit diluted.

Dumpling Noodles. Tastewise was okay also, just that the soup was abit too diluted.

Nasi Lemak. Tasted more or less the same as others. But this shop uses the Baba Nyonya Curry, instead of Sambal/Rendang.

Fried Tofu. Tasted so-so only.

Iced Black Coffee. They used coffee bags instead of the coffee powder. So, no comment.

Recently I had a getaway 2 day 1 night trip to Malacca, the city of history ~~with no future~~. Arrived there in the evening, just in time for some dinner! Wanted to visit Capitol's Satay Celup, but gave up hope as I knew it would be jam packed.

So I headed to: Restoran Ban Lee Siang

Restoran Ban Lee Siang owns 2 shop lots side by side.

The raw ingredients.
Some bread & cucumbers to be dipped.
The peanut sauce dip. Some people say that they only change the dip once a year, that's why it's so nice.

While waiting for the food to cook in the peanut sauce dip.

A cold glass of herbal tea. Recomended to go along with the piping hot food.

Fish ball.

Bread, just one small dip will soak the bread with the sauce already.

Beancurd Stick (Fu-Chuk).

Squid.

Another version of fish ~~ball~~ star. Taste the same as fish ball.

Cocktail Sausage, Quail's Egg and the Fish Star.

Round 2.
Crabmeat.
45 sticks.

Total price: RM37.80

Good meal, worth the price, good food, 50 cents per stick. Recomended!

It's located on Jalan Ong Kim Wee, there's quite alot of parking spaces around that area so no worries for parking issues.

Dragon-i @ The Curve

Dragon-i has always been famous for their Lai Mian Xiao Long Bao, and well, of course their food. But my visit to Dragon-i at The Curve made me think that their food is too over rated. The environment of Dragon-i makes me get a headache as it is very noisy. Although they have air-conditioners, I can still sweat inside the restaurant.

Cutleries.

Wet Towel.

Soya Bean Milk, tasteless.

Tidbits/Snacks.

The Shanghai Style Xiao Long Bao Dumpling. Tasted okay only despite all the juice inside the dumpling.

Si Chuan Lai Mian with Hand Torn Lai Mian. It was spicy enough and the portion is enough for 2 people to eat.

Lai Mian With Preserved Vegetables & Pork. Tasted good and the portion was very big also, enough to fill 2 person's stomach.

The Beijing Style Xiao Long Bao Dumpling. Tasted different from the Shanghai Style one, but also so-so only.

Lai Mian with Taiwanese Fried Chicken. Tastewise was good, but the Crispy XXL Chicken from Shih Lin Taiwan Snacks taste better than this Taiwanese Fried Chicken. This Taiwanese Fried Chicken was slightly tasteless.

Braise Pork With Man Tou. This dish wasnt really like what I expected. It's texture was plasticy, and the Man Tou's were hard and dry.

Steamed Rice With Pork Chop & Potato. This dish was okay only. Nothing fancy.

Fried Shanghainese Dumpling. Wasnt that good also.

Well, this visit to Dragon-i will make it my first and last time eating there. The total bill came out to RM140++.

Worth It? No

Well in our country. We host quite a number of events to help raise fund for needy people and for the people suffering from poverty.

Gasoline @ Sunway Pyramid

A few days ago, I was at Sunway Pyramid for the Astro Battleground. During lunch time, I went around Sunway Pyramid venturing for good food. And I stumbled upon this unique looking restaurant - Gasoline. This place has great ambience, best for friends to hangout and eat here or for you to bring your partner here with a little bit of privacy. At Gasoline, you sit on the floor cushions instead of chairs and have your own privacy with curtains around you, and not to forget the dim lighting concept.

The outside of the restaurant. Yes those are see through meshing as passerby's can see into the restaurant.

The Menu.

The buttons to call. This is the most interesting gadget I have ever seen. After you press either one of the buttons. It will alarm the waiters/waitresses, via the watch they are wearing.

The entrance the customer's respective tables. You will have to take off your shoes to enter.

Cutleries with a serviette.
The floor cushion we sit on.

Chocolate Shake Shake. It's a ice blended drink, sweet enough for my liking with alot of fudge around the drink. RM6.00.

Momocha. Ice blended Mocha with chocolate chips and whipped cream on top. Tasted good with the price tag of RM6.50.

Black Pepper Chicken Rice. The chicken meat was good along with the black pepper sauce. RM6.00.

Thai Style Chicken Rice. Fried chicken with thai sauce. The thai sauce was good, a little bit of sweet, and a little bit of spicyness.

The total bill came out to RM28.90 after adding 5% Govt Tax and 5% Service Tax. Well the waiters/waitresses deserve to charge us 5% Service Tax as their service was fast, efficient and friendly too. Pictures arent so clear as the restaurant has dim lighting conditions.

Jetty @ Riverside, 1 Utama

I had lunch in Jetty located at Riverside, 1 Utama. I have eaten there once before and liked their food, price, portion, as well as the waiters/waitresses service. Jetty is located beside a river, so you have the great ambience there.

The place where they prepare the drinks. The food is prepared in the kitchen somewhere away from Jetty.

A refreshing glass of Ribena Ice. Though I don't drink that often, it is what everyone orders here.

Cutleries.

Nasi Goreng Cina or Chinese Style Fried Rice. This dish was good.

Fried Kuey Teow. It was fried to perfection along with medium sized juicy prawns and generous amount of bean sprouts.

Thai Style Fish With Rice. The fish was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The thai sauce that came along with the fish was great to go along with the rice.

Jetty Chicken Chop. This dish was the most expensive dish, yet the most dissapointing one. Although not that dissapointing. The amount of fries they gave was barely 10 pieces. But it was okay. The chicken was so-so only, not that tender. Baked beans was served along too.

Bangkok Tom Yam Kuey Teow Soup. This was the bomb! Literally, because it had quite a few cili padi's in it, with lots of onions and tomatoes. And an average quantity of kuey teow given.

Price to dine here is worth it. Around RM8.00 - RM12.00 per person with great food, great service and also great ambience.

Restaurant Bukit Jugra @ Jugra

Few days ago, I went to Restaurant Bukit Jugra located in Jugra, Banting for dinner. This restaurant is so famous that you have to make reservation in advance 1 week to get a chance to eat here. So instead of lunch, I had dinner here.

The place they cook the Beggar's Chicken, Beggar Duck.

The mud is used to cover the paper that is wrapping the chicken/duck.

Chinese Tea.

Tiger Beer.

The first dish that arrived. Beggar's Pig Leg.

Beggar's Pig Leg. This is was slightly dissapointing as it didn't have that 'taste'. That 'taste' is the taste you always get when eating pork. The taste was taken away by the herbs, so I didn't really enjoy that dish.

Second dish that arrived. The ever famous Beggar's Chicken. This dish was really good. Better than any other Beggar's Chicken I had. The herbs they used was original and obviously tasted better.

Some vegetables. Nothing much about this dish.

Beggar's Duck. This dish was good. The only difference between this dish and the Beggar's Chicken is that one is chicken and the other is duck. The herbs used are the same.

The traditional fish. This fish was really long. And tasted great. The skin was crispy and the meat inside was soft and chewy. It was boneless too.

Rice.

The final dish that arrived. The Longevity Soup. This soup was really really peppery. You can choke by just smelling the soup. But it was really good, and the meat inside cooked with the soup was good.

Overall, this meal was satisfying. The price was decent for such a great meal. The amount of food above is meant for 10 people eating.

Xin Chun Seafood Steamboat Restaurant @ Kota Damansara

Firstly, I would like to apologise to all my loyal readers, and the newcomers too, for not updating in such a long time. This is because I was too engrossed with my online game having a really busy week, and I couldnt get to have a meal to recommend you people.

So today, I went to Xin Chun Seafood Steamboat Restaurant for dinner. Turned out to be a slightly dissapointing trip for me. They didn't have some food which I wanted to order. So I had to stick to JUST steamboat for the night.

Add on: Scallop Really thin, but tasted well and rubbery.

Tom Yam Soup and Normal Soup.

The Tom Yam was reall nice. It was spicy enough along with abit of sweetness.

Fried Dumplings. This dish comes along with mayonnaise by the side. Tasted good and was freshly made.

Some greens.

Add On: Bamboo Clams. This tasted okay only.

Noodles(Comes along with the set) along with Tom Yam Soup, accompanied with the scallop.

p.s: There is quite a number of small harmless insects around the table/flying around. That is something you must suit yourself with while eating at this restaurant.

Mamma Mia! The Movie

Thanks to Nuffnang, I got myself a pair of Mamma Mia! The Movie tickets and watched the movie on Monday night.

Can you see the Abba CD at the back there? Yeap that's for me, I'm starting to love their songs!

Home Made Chocolate Chip Cookies

It's been awhile since I last blogged. Todays post is teaching you people how to make really tasty Chocolate Chip Cookies. Trust me, if you follow the recipe and nothing goes wrong, it'll taste AWESOME!

Ingredients:

3/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.
2. Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
3. In a medium bowl, cream together the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar until well blended. Beat in the vanilla, egg, and egg yolk until light and creamy. Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended. Stir in the chocolate chips by hand using a wooden spoon. Drop cookie dough 1/4 cup at a time onto the prepared cookie sheets. Cookies should be about 3 inches apart.
4. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are lightly toasted. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

End Product.

Most of my chocolate chips are either at the bottom of the cookie or somewhere in the middle of the cookie.

Dinner @ 888 Food Planet

888 Food Planet is a new food court that opened recently on the 18th of August. I went there for dinner yesterday. The food court has alot of food stalls, and there are plenty of choices. They even have an indoor carpark, as well as an outdoor carpark. As it was raining yesterday night, we managed to park inside the indoor carpark. Parking is free after 6pm.

The amount of stalls and people. There are 2 roles of stalls.

Decoration.

Sufficient lights and fans. There's also the mist spraying system.

My drink of the night - Hot Neslo.

Ngap Giok Bau (Wrapped Duck Feet) from the Lok Lok stall.

Lobak, very good, worth the money paid. The spring rolls and the Lobak is very meaty.

Hokkien Mee. Tasted great, the sauce is very thick.

Korean Food - Don Gas (Pork Chop Rice). Tasted good, cost RM7.00.

My order - Crispy Chicken Chop Rice. It was abit dissapointing when it turned up with so little chicken. But the stall had loads of customers. Tasted so-so only.

Chicken Maryland. Tasted quite good. Didn't really like it because I'm not a Chicken Maryland fan. I prefer Chicken Chop. But it was still good.

As for dessert. Tong Yuan from the Gingko Tong Yuan stall. Tasted ok but the price was a rip off. RM3.80 for a bowl of soya milk with 4 tong yuan. Consists of Chocolate, Red Bean, Lotus and Peanuts.

Yu Ai Chocolate Cheese Mooncake

A few days ago I bought a few mooncakes. One of them was Chocolate Cheese Mooncake by Yu Ai. I was so eager to try this but could only get to try it today because of a slight cough. Tea Time @ La Manila Cafe

I had my tea break in the afternoon few days ago at La Manila Cafe. One thing I love about their cafe is that their cakes are the awesome! And the price is reasonable.

Chicken Pie. The pastry wasn't that amazing because it was hard on the outside, soft on the inside. Tasted so-so only. It also came with a small container of brown sauce. Gave the pie that extra "Kick!".Mud Slice. One of my all time favourite. This is because the cake part is really rich with chocolate taste, and the top layer fudge gives that creamy taste.

Oreo Cheese Cake. Taste awesome! The Oreo layer over the Biscuit base is really good. Definitely good for those wicked Cheese Cake lovers.

Infekted @ Titanium Super Dance Club

Infekted is a club event in Melbourne. And this time is the first ever time Infekted club event is held in Malaysia. Luckily there was no age limit this time. Next time if an Infekted club event is held again, there maybe a age limit. So I had to enjoy my first ever rave event held in Titanium Super Dance Club.

The event started at 1pm and ended at 6pm. With DJ's like Musher, Nottifish, Nekon, Didjital And the ever famous Ganjaguru. It was really worth it for the price we paid. RM30 for VIP and RM40 for door sale. I paid only RM30 because my name was on the VIP list.

Lee Chong Wei is currently battling against Lin Dan for Olympic Badminton Finals. In conjunction of watching the match and blogging at the same time. I'm having some snacks. I bought the mini tarts again. Today i got myself some Keropok Lekor too, it's also known as fish crackers. But mind you this is not the chinese type fish crackers or prawn crackers. This is some malay snack.

I'll make this post simple as I'm too excited watching Chong Wei's and Lin Dan's match.

Just got back from the Taman Megah Pasar Malam. As title says, I got some tarts from one of the stalls. I have bought their tarts for the past few years and I'm still loving it. I also bought something new to try, Ice Blended Sour Sop. The texture of the ice is so fine just like snow. Cost me RM2.50.

Hmm yeah this is my first time doing a blog post on re-visiting restaurants. I have a really really good impression on this restaurant since my first visit. The environment is quiet, food served really quickly, waiter/waitress-es are very friendly and hardworking. Got myself kinda drunk again. x)

The first dish to arrive - Fried Mee Hoon with La La (clams). Very fragrant, good.

Four Heavenly Kings. Tasted like last time. Good nevertheless, still didn't dissapoint me.

Oyster Omelette(a.k.a. "Or Chien") on a Hot Plate.

Salt Baked Mantis Prawn. Abit dissapointing, they baked it with the shell left on. So it was kinda hard to chew. Not So Recommended.

Deep Fried Baby Shark. Yeah the last time I ordered Baby Shark Curry, now it's time for deep fried style. Tasted quite good.

Sweet Potato Leaves fried with Chilli Sambal Belacan. Not my type, so didn't take much. Cant comment much.

Crabs fried with Salted Eggs & Dried Chilli. The crabs today were abit small in size, but it was nice overall.

Fried Calamari. Tasted really really crispy. The squid was very "Q" and the skin/batter was crispy. Definitely Recommended

After ordering and eating 8 dishes. I was absolutely full, full, FULL. Price was really reasonable.

Had dinner at Wendy's just now. It is located in Palm Square @ Jaya One, you shouldn't miss it cause it is a big square and there is a Old Town Kopitiam there. I have been longing to try Wendy's already since the time I saw Wendy's being builded in Sunway Pyramid.

Their Frosty, it's basically just a float.

Twisted Frosty, also known as the McFlurry in Mcdonalds. But at Wendy's, you still get to have M&M's and a choice of either Vanilla or Chocolate ice cream.

Had dinner at one of my relative's house just now. They catered from an Indian Food Caterer. It was a simple buffet style dinner. So had my dinner.

I felt sorry for my stomach because I made it take in the lousy western food, and I also had the urge to eat Japanese Food. So I went to Hokano Japanese Restaurant for dinner. Went lurking around the whole Uptown looking for decent Japanese Restaurants. Other than Wassabi, Umai-Ya, Ramen... I found this cozy looking small japanese restaurant - Hokano Japanese Restaurant. Went in, sat down, got a very nice and friendly waitress serving us. We took like for-ever to choose what to eat.

Both tasted great! The salmon was very fresh, you could just feel it's softness.

Ratherly unique looking California Rolls. Crab meat inside, black sesame seeds and fish eggs outside. Tasted good, I think it's my first time having this type of California Rolls.

Something that got me piping all night. =)

My Main Course, Chicken Katsu Don. Tasted good nevertheless. The chicken was made till just nice, tender.

Every Main Course comes with a Miso Soup, one of my favourite type of soup.

Tempura set, the prawns taste good, very fresh. Oh and it came with a BIG Onion Ring

The sauce/dip to go with the Tempura.

Some fish that we ordered too. It's a main course. It was grilled to perfection. The skin tasted salty because it was covered in salt while grilling, took the fishy smell away.

It was a very filling meal. and if you ever go there, the prices are all Nett Prices. Something you don't see everyday.

Lunch @ Arena Food Court, 1 Utama

Notice: From now on, I'm not going to watermark my pictures anymore. And, this is the first ever time I'm writing a review on lousy food.

Had lunch at Arena Food Court in 1 Utama yesterday. It has been awhile since I last ate there, and since everyone wanted to eat there, we took a shot and went. ALL of us regretted eating there. Their food price had raised like mad, and the food quality dropped down to Economy food standard. Before we headed to Arena, we stopped by Starbucks to get a drink and chit chat.

Mocha Frappucino With Cream and Chocolate Powder.

Soon, we headed for lunch. We were like Ini-Mini-Miney-Mo, didn't know what/where to eat. At first it was Seoul Garden, then Fishing Village, then JJ' Super Sandwich, then Arena Food Court. But soon after ordering our food, we regretted eating there.

My main course - Fish & Chips from Wagon Grill. The name sounds so Western-ish, but being taken care by malays that don't really know how to prepare western food properly. It's RM10.90 for 2 small pieces of hard fish, they must have kept the fish for quite some time, very little fries. 1 of the worst western food I have ever eaten. After tax = RM11.45, Even my previous post on Phang's Western Food, the food taste better, bigger, and obviously CHEAPER.

Clarence ordered Black Pepper Sauce Chicken Chop from the same place. Price was the same, serving was also more or less the same size, small. The chicken chop was barely a centimetre thick. It was dry, burnt and tasted like it was kept in the refrigerator for too darn long before grilling it. The black pepper sauce was also too dialuted.

Jensen ordered Roasted Chicken Rice from one of the shops, and when it reached the table, I was like:" Is that Economy Rice?". Turned out to be Expensive "Economy Rice". RM5.50
for a plate of chicken rice with VERY little chicken. And RM5.50 is without tax, FYI.

Uptown Square Food Court @ Damansara Uptown

Finished dinner at a night mamak/food court in Damansara Uptown just now. I have been eating at that night mamak/food court almost every 2 weeks since I was a little kid. One stall I have always visited at least once everytime I eat there is Phang's Western Food. Their western food is cheap, big, tasty. There is probably around 10 western food stalls there but I seldom visit those because it's either their food is not as tasty as Phang's Western Food, or their portion is small, OR their price is higher. I think Phang's Western Food is the cheapest, biggest portion and tastiest among all western food stalls.

I ordered a Honey Lemon Lime Juice as you all know I lost my voice during the hike yesterday. Thanks to Lim Yi May a.k.a The Almighty New D.O. for advising me to take warm honey water. The juice had a sweet,sour and salty taste because the honey gives the sweetness, lemon gives the sourness and the lime gives the saltyness, definitely loved it.

Other than the juice I ordered, I also ordered a Teh Tarik.

Then my main course came. The Mushroom Sauce Chicken Chop from Phang's Western Food. Tasted as good as a "very good tasting, big sized portion of western food for only Rm7.50".

I also ordered a Fish & Chips. For RM7.00, you get a big piece of Fish and alot of Chips. It also comes with Baked Beans, Coleslaw, An Egg And 2 pieces of buttered bread.

I Ordered a Naan as a side dish.

We felt like having Cockels so we ordered a plate. Cockels are tasteless and you'll have to dip the sauce to indulge it.

There you go. The Chilli sauce for being dipped by the Cockels. The red coloured sauce is the Chilli sauce, the black coloured sauce is Sweet sauce, and there is peanuts in the middle of the both sauces.

It is located beside Sekolah Kebangsaan Seri Damai if I am not mistaken (Maybe I was too high from the heat that time).

Golden Hills Instant Mash Potato - Four Cheese

It's a ratherly odd time to blog now. As I am typing my blog I am eating Golden Hills Instant Mash Potato, Four Cheese flavour as my supper. There are other flavours like Butter & Herb, Roasted Garlic, Loaded Baked and this Four Cheese (No Cheez this doesnt taste like you either). Pics are fresh so enjoy.

The packaging. It comes in a pack of 10 when you buy it. But that is IF you ever get it in Malaysia.

Every pack of 10 will have a cup with the water measurements for the amount of hot water to put into the cup before pouring the mash potato powder in.

It's good for a snack, for a supper or etc.

p.s You can only get this in Singapore.

New Greenery Seafood Restaurant located in Telok Gong, Klang is quite deep in a coconut growth. Went there for dinner just now, very satisfied with the food quality and the price. It's the cheapest seafood I had in my life after ordering so many types of seafood. The dishes came extremely fast. Btw, they have an ostrich just outside the restaurant, but I didn't take a pic of it as it was raining.

I will be half drunk while i'm publishing this blog due to the drink above. It's fermented coconut drink, called Todi. High percentage in alcohol, had around 2++ glasses of it. Taste sweetish and very refreshing.

Definitely RECOMMENDED, price is Real reasonable.

Shih Lin Taiwan Street Snacks @ 1 Utama

It's been a while since I had Shih Lin as a snack/meal. So since I was at 1 Utama today, I decided to have it, and also to blog about it. 1 thing I never miss in Shih Lin Taiwan Street Snacks is their XXL Crispy Chicken, for a price of RM6.00(inclusive of tax), their XXL is REALLY big for that price. You can either choose with chilli powder and pepper or without. Today, mine was without chilli powder but with pepper. Their pepper already makes the chicken salty enough, so it's good enough for me.

Finished dinner at The Royal Selangor Club. We ordered from their RSC Pizza Corner instead of the RSC Restaurant or the Japanese Restaurant. The reason is because their pizza corner serve the best, fastest, reasonable food. I went there a few times this few months, but I yet to blog about it. Finally i brought my camera along with me to the place. So I shall show you a few of their nicest dishes that I always order.

The dish I ordered. Chicken Fettucini Carbonara. This is my favourite dish of all times. The sauce is really really creamy and thick. Chicken chunks over the fettucini and the heavy cheese smell. It also comes with two thin cheese sticks.

It's about time i had KFC... Since all my friends are teasing me about my blog name k-tucky = kentucky, I decided to have KFC for my tea time. I have long wanted to try their Tea Time Combo as it is so cheap. At a price of RM3.80, you can choose from 6 different Combos, like 1 piece fried chicken, cheese wedges, O.R. fillet burger, Colonel burger and etc... It all comes with a regular carbonated drink.

I ordered a Combo D and a Combo E. Combo D is Cheesy Wedges whereas Combo E is O.R. Fillet Burger. So I had 2 cups of Pepsi.

How To Cook : Oat Coated Chicken Chop

Okay guys, I'm here today to teach you all a western dish, Oat Coated Chicken Chop. Actually, it's pretty easy if you know how to breath, work with your hands, and watch food turn golden brown. Ingredients are very simple too!

All you have to do is :

Steal a chicken from the village nearest to your kitchen.

Get some oats from your grandfather's kitchen.

Go to a mill and pound the wheat into flour.

At last! climb the highest mountains, swim the deepest oceans, and search for some cooking oil, OR you can just get it from your nearby household store.

End product. :)

After a boring day in school, I finally reached home and had dinner. I usually don't have western food every week, this is the third time I'm having it within 1 week. Last Friday, Sunday(Sorry didn't take pictures), and Today. AND I dont usually have oatmeal chicken chop, I think this is the first time. That's weird. =.=

Went to have lunch at Brickfields during Father's Day after shopping at SOGO KL. Went to May Flower Seafood Restaurant & Food Court for lunch. I heard the famous banana leaf indian rice moved there. So, I went looking for the place.

Rice crisis now~~~ Yet we can ask for as much rice as we want! I ordered 2 extra side dishes - lamb meat and chicken meat. It still taste the same like last time, AWESOME!!!

The side dishes, all tasted GREAT too. The price was quite reasonable even after I ordered 2 different types of meat

Blueberry Cheese Tarts @ LYN Forumer ahpoh

This is the second time I bought her Blueberry Cheese Tarts, guess why? Its because they taste really good and you wont find that kind of taste and size for a price of RM1.80.

There is alot of blueberry filling inside the tarts. The texture of the pastry is really crispy and crumbly, I bet you won't get to hold it up on your first try. Hint: I used a teaspoon to cut it then hold it. It's alot better, trust me.

The size of the tart is 8cm x 8 cm. Fellow LYN forumer ahpoh bakes it herself, then sends it out to people that order it FRESH. When I collected mine at 5.30pm yesterday, it was still warm, as if it just came out of the oven.

Variety Lunch

Just finished shopping @ The Curve, Mutiara Damansara. So decided to buy some lunch on the way home. At The Curve, I couldn't resist the smell of Big Apple Donuts from at least 15 metres away. It was so tempting till I bought it! Big Apple Donuts are my favourite, especially Choreo, the black donut with a white line on each side of the donut.

The ever great looking, tasty, delicious, scrumptious, mouth-watering donuts fresh from Big Apple.

On the way to the car, I saw something i havent had in a long time just at the car park in Tesco. And the last time I had it was at Lukut, Port Dickson. Guess what it is! xD

Curry Wrapped In Bread... I miss this since the last time i went to Port Dickson. It's basically curry in a foil container then wrapped in dough, followed by putting it into the oven. BINGO! you have your curry bread ready to be eaten. ^.^

The curry doesn't look really attracting, but after you eat it with the bread, I bet you'll think different.

I bought other types of food at a coffee shop somewhere in Taman Megah. Restoran Gembira is famous for their white coffee because the guy who makes the coffee has the skill... So during lunch time, that place will be packed with people.

Curry Noodles that is famous from one of the stalls.

Fried Kuey Teow. Very famous, almost every table will have a plate of that.

Prawn Noodles, or also known as Har Mee. Tastes great, the soup is sweet-ish (which is a good thing).

Oat Coated Fish & Chips

Just finished dinner at home, had oat coated fish & chips. I havent had oatmeal fish for long time already. So, I finally got a chance to blog about this. Lucky me, I had a camera on the table so I snapped the pics before anyone took the food. xD

The deep fried fish coated oatmeal & real home made potato chips.

Cold salad that contains cucumbers, lettuce, apples.

Served with "Custom Made Salad Dressing".

Review: Starbucks In A Bottle

Finally! I opened the bottle at last!!!

Okay, although I am a BIG fan of Starbucks™ Coffee. Frankly speaking, I am not 100% satisfied with the bottled Starbucks™ Coffee. There are quite a few things that I am not satisfied with :

1) It is just too sweet, maybe they added alot of sugar inside there so that people can drink it On-The-Go. Taste just like coffee with lots and lots of sugar in it. That's why you will have to do something to dialute it, by adding ALOT, and yes I mean ALOT of ice into the coffee.

I literally flooded the coffee with ice and guess what? It still taste SWEET.

2) The bottle problem. I know I know, what does the bottle have to do with the drink? If you know how to enjoy it, you would also find the same problem with me. After you open it, I suggest you not to close it again, it is really hard to close it. Another thing, the mouth of the bottle is just too BIG.

3) This may be cheaper than normal Starbucks™ Coffee, but it doesn't taste the same. The fresh coffee you get from the Starbucks™ Cafe itself taste waaaaaaaaay better than this. Although it is slightly more expensive, it's worth the money.

Overall: Not worth the money. Don't get it unless you are under desperation of drinking Starbucks™ Coffee. :)

ps. This taste like the RM1.50 Nescafe Mocha Coffee in the can.

Starbucks In A Bottle?

This would be my first post here.

As title says, I'm going to start my blog with one of the beverages I got in Singapore few days back - Starbucks Mocha Frappucino, in a bottle.

You can get it at just about anywhere in Singapore. From 7-11 to Supermarkets like Giant, Fair Price At an affordable price below SGD 3.20. It's cheaper than the ones you get at Starbucks itself. I got myself a Mocha Frappucino although there were many choices like Coffee Frappucino and etc. Prices are as below:

Fair Price = SGD 2.80, around 6.664 MYR
7-11 = SGD 2.95, around 7.021 MYR
Giant = SGD 3.05, around 7.259 MYR (those are the current price as effective on 2/6/2008)
